Packages and focused work
Some issues suit a brief, focused piece of work with an agreed number of sessions. Examples include:
- Smoking cessation work over an agreed block.
- Hypno Gastric Band sessions.
- Weight loss.
- Exam nerves or performance work leading up to a specific date.
- A short series of sessions for a particular phobia.

Payment
Payment usually takes place at the end of each session by card, cash or bank transfer. Details arrive with your booking confirmation.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel or move an appointment, please give as much notice as possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice risk full charge, apart from emergencies.

Are concessions available
In some situations reduced fees are offered, usually for students, low income or longer term work. Any concession is agreed on a case by case basis during enquiry or at your first appointment.
How many sessions should I plan for
A small block of sessions often forms a first plan, for example four to six appointments. Review points then help decide whether further work feels useful. Frequency and length of work depend on your goals, history and progress.
Do I pay for the initial consultation
The Initial Telephone consultation is usually free. It’s a chance for you to let me know your requirements and to introduce yourself, and for you to get to know me a little, too. The first consultation follows the same fee structure as standard sessions. Unless stated otherwise in your booking information. Any different arrangement appears clearly in written information before you commit.
What happens if I need to change time or day
Life events sometimes mean a change of plan. With good notice appointments move to another free slot. Short notice changes fall under the cancellation policy described above.
Are fees different for online sessions
Fees for online work usually match in-person sessions at Barham Court or Buckland Hill. If a different structure applies, this appears in advance in your booking details.
